Gap Fillers

The Preston Innovation Rig Station is a great bit of kit, However, I have an annoyance with the gap that is underneath the spool holders.

The line was forever coming off of the spool and wrapping around the underneath column which can damage the line. So, I decided to print out some blockers to stop this from happening.

As you will see in the photos this will stop the wrapping of the line and also stop small pieces from being dropped in the gaps. I found that this massively help me when using the rig station as I was not getting fed up with the issues anymore. As they say it is the small things that can make a HUGE difference.

How to Fit
– Remove the spool and screw.
– Line up the blocker with the shape of the gaps.
– Place your hand flat on top of the block and gently push until it can go no further.

This should now be a nice SNUG fit.

Stotz & Loop Tyer Block

Functions

• Spaces for 8 packs of Stotz.
• 1 Slot for a Preston Innovations Loop Tyer or New Guru.
• Small sunken area for tipping out Stotz. This area also has a sloped back to help picking the Stotz up.
• The lid still closes shut and even if the station is tipped up everything will stay in its place.

I know this is not for everyone but for me tidiness allows me to concentrate and get on with making up those rigs & hooks that I made a mess off at weekend!
